How to optimize Nextflow costs without breaking your pipeline
Nextflow cost optimization works best when it starts from trace files and ends with reviewable, deterministic recommendations instead of ad hoc tuning.
Most pipeline cost work is too coarse
Teams usually start with the total cloud bill, which is understandable but not very useful. It tells you that the pipeline is expensive without telling you which process, retry pattern, or resource request is causing the waste.
